What was Taylor Swift’s “august” peak on the Canadian Hot 100?

Taylor Swift’s “august” peaked at number 19 on the Canadian Hot 100.

The Canadian result came during the song’s initial chart run after Folklore was released in 2020. It was one of several international top-20 results for the track, alongside number 13 in Australia, number 11 in Malaysia, and number 12 in Singapore.

These early international peaks demonstrate that “august” was already reaching listeners outside the United States before its annual August streaming tradition became especially visible. The later seasonal resurgence gave the song new chart appearances and peaks in additional markets.

The Canadian Hot 100 position is easy to confuse with the US Hot 100 result, where the song peaked at number 23. Canada also uses a separate national chart, so number 19 is the specific Canadian answer rather than a general worldwide ranking.
