What was Take That’s debut studio album, released in 1992?

The story behind the answer

Take That’s debut studio album, released in 1992, was Take That & Party.

The album introduced the British group’s early pop sound and included their first major singles, such as “Do What U Like,” “Promises,” and “Once You’ve Tasted Love.” It was released in the United Kingdom on 17 August 1992.

Take That & Party was followed by Everything Changes in 1993, the album that established the group as one of Britain’s biggest pop acts. The title is sometimes confused with the group’s later album Everything Changes because both are closely associated with Take That’s breakthrough period.

Take That originally consisted of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Mark Owen, Jason Orange, and Robbie Williams. Williams left the group in 1995, while the remaining members continued until the band’s initial split in 1996. Take That later reunited and released new music with a changing lineup.
