Assassin's Creed Valhalla's protagonist is called Eivor.
Eivor is a Viking from Norway who travels to England with the Raven Clan during the ninth century. The player can choose a male or female presentation for Eivor, but the character's name remains Eivor. This makes the name the unifying answer across the game's selectable protagonist options.
The story follows Eivor's settlement in England and encounters with the Hidden Ones, the group descended from the Assassin tradition. Eivor also becomes involved in conflicts with the Order of the Ancients, the organization that predates the Templars.
Valhalla was released in 2020. Kassandra is the protagonist of Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Bayek leads Origins, and Basim is a major character who later becomes the protagonist of Assassin's Creed Mirage. Those characters share the broader series but are not Valhalla's playable lead.
