Coca-Cola completed the 1963 slogan “Things Go Better with Coke.”
The campaign presented Coke as a natural companion to meals, music, friendship, and everyday social experiences. Its wording made the product part of a broader lifestyle rather than treating it only as a beverage that quenched thirst.
The slogan was supported by music-centered advertising and became one of Coca-Cola’s notable mid-century brand lines. It also helped normalize “Coke” as a central public name for Coca-Cola.
The question can be confused with later Coca-Cola slogans that used “Coke,” including “Coke Is It!” from the 1980s. The 1963 line is specifically remembered for the opening phrase “Things Go Better with.”
