What season is between winter and summer?
Answer
Spring
Answer
Spring
Spring is the season between winter and summer. In the usual four-season cycle, winter is followed by spring, then summer, and finally autumn or fall before winter begins again.
Spring is a transition season. In the Northern Hemisphere, temperatures generally become milder, daylight increases, and many plants begin new growth. Astronomically, spring begins at the March equinox, when day and night are approximately equal in length, although the exact date can vary slightly from year to year.
Meteorologists use a simpler calendar: spring runs from March through May in the Northern Hemisphere. The seasons are reversed in the Southern Hemisphere, but spring still comes between that region’s winter and summer. “Autumn” and “fall” are two names for the season that follows summer, not alternatives to spring.
