The Dive move lets players explore beneath the waves in Pokémon Pokopia’s Bubbly Basin update.
Bubbly Basin is an underwater-themed town added in the first part of the paid expansion pass. A free update adds the Dive move, allowing players to travel below the surface and reach areas that were previously unexplorable.
The update also adds aquatic-themed Pokémon and furniture, extending the game’s central loop of discovering Pokémon through habitats and shaping spaces for them. Dive should not be confused with Surf, Water Gun, or other water-related Pokémon moves. In this context, Dive is specifically the new exploration ability connected with the Bubbly Basin content.
