The Honda Super Cub is widely recognized as the world’s best-selling motor vehicle.

Honda introduced the Super Cub C100 in 1958, combining a step-through frame, an automatic centrifugal clutch and a small four-stroke engine. Its approachable design made it useful for commuting, delivery work and everyday transport in many countries.

The model became especially successful because it was inexpensive, economical and easy to ride. Honda’s advertising helped spread the machine internationally, including through the famous “You meet the nicest people on a Honda” campaign in the United States.
