What label was the "Dogma" soundtrack released on?

The story behind the answer

The soundtrack to the 1999 film Dogma was released on the Maverick label. The album, titled Dogma: Music from the Motion Picture, features music composed primarily by Howard Shore.

The soundtrack combines Shore’s orchestral score with Alanis Morissette’s song “Still,” which opens the album. Morissette also appears in the film as God, making the song an especially notable part of the movie’s music identity. The original soundtrack was issued in November 1999.

Some listings also show Warner Bros. alongside Maverick because of the companies’ distribution and corporate relationship. That does not make the stored answer wrong: Maverick is the label name most directly associated with the original release. Maverick was Madonna’s entertainment company, founded in 1992, and its record-label division issued several prominent film soundtracks during the 1990s.
