Hinako Shirai was a ballet dancer in “Blue Reflection.” Before the game begins, a serious knee injury ends her ability to perform, leaving her withdrawn and frustrated.
Her life changes when she meets the Shijou sisters, Yuzuki and Lime. They grant her the power to become a Reflector, a magical warrior who can enter emotional worlds and battle monsters. That supernatural ability also lets Hinako move freely again, reconnecting her with the physical freedom she lost through injury.
The ballet detail is central to Hinako’s character rather than a passing biographical note. Her training shapes her posture, identity, friendships, and hopes for recovery. A common mix-up is to describe her simply as a dancer; the game specifically identifies her background as ballet.
