What is the title of the first short in Pixar’s Mater’s Tall Tales series?

The first short in Pixar’s Mater’s Tall Tales series is titled Rescue Squad Mater.

Rescue Squad Mater premiered in 2008 and follows Mater as a fire truck who responds to a rescue call. Like the other shorts, it presents one of Mater’s exaggerated stories about his supposed past careers and adventures. Lightning McQueen listens to the tale, while the series leaves the truth of Mater’s claims humorously uncertain.

Mater’s Tall Tales was created as a series of short films rather than a theatrical feature. The episodes usually place Mater and McQueen in different genres, including firefighting, espionage, monster-truck competition, and aerial adventure.

Later titles include Tokyo Mater, Unidentified Flying Mater, Mater the Greater, and Heavy Metal Mater. Those names are plausible alternatives because they are genuine episodes from the same series, but Rescue Squad Mater is the opening short.
