The Bluey episode where Bluey and Bingo play doctor is titled “Doctor.”
“Doctor” is the second episode of Bluey’s first series. In the game, Bandit pretends to be a patient with stomach pain, while Bluey takes the role of the doctor and Bingo acts as the nurse. Their imaginary treatment becomes wonderfully elaborate when they decide that a cat is stuck inside Bandit and must be coaxed out.
The title refers to Bluey’s role in the central pretend game, not to a real medical procedure or facility. “Surgery,” “Vet” and “Hospital” describe elements that may fit the scenario, but none is the episode’s official title.
The episode illustrates one of the show’s recurring ideas: children transform ordinary family situations into imaginative worlds. Bandit’s willingness to play along supplies the comedy, while the sisters’ invented medical roles give the story its structure. It is also an early example of Bluey using make-believe to explore adult responsibilities in a child-friendly way.
