What is the title of the Cars short-film series starring Mater and his tall tales?

The Cars short-film series starring Mater is titled Mater's Tall Tales.

The series, also known as Cars Toons: Mater's Tall Tales, features Mater telling increasingly unlikely stories about his supposed past adventures. Each story usually begins with Mater claiming that he and Lightning McQueen experienced an extraordinary event together.

The first short, Rescue Squad Mater, debuted in 2008. Later entries place Mater in settings involving stunt driving, time travel, espionage, and other comic scenarios. Lightning often plays along, even when the story is clearly exaggerated.

Mater's Tall Tales is separate from the feature films Cars, Cars 2, and Cars 3. The shorts use the familiar characters and designs but allow a more episodic and deliberately absurd style than the main films.
