What is the title of the 2023 Assassin's Creed game starring Basim Ibn Ishaq?

The 2023 game starring Basim Ibn Ishaq is Assassin's Creed Mirage.

Mirage follows Basim in ninth-century Baghdad before the events of Assassin's Creed Valhalla. It traces his development from a street thief into a Hidden One, with training under Roshan and missions connected to the Order of the Ancients. The setting emphasizes dense urban districts, investigation, disguise, and stealth-focused assassinations.

Basim previously appeared as an important character in Valhalla, where his identity and memories are tied to the series' broader mythological and science-fiction storyline. Mirage therefore works as a character-focused prequel while also expanding information about Basim's past.

The game was released in October 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Amazon Luna. Its design deliberately returns to a more compact city and a more traditional stealth structure than the large role-playing worlds of several recent entries.
