What is the title of the 2020 Disney Frozen short featuring Olaf’s early adventures?

The 2020 Disney Frozen short featuring Olaf’s early adventures is titled Once Upon a Snowman.

The short takes place during the events of the first Frozen film and follows Olaf immediately after Elsa creates him. He searches for an identity and explores the world while encountering characters and situations that viewers recognize from the feature film.

Once Upon a Snowman was directed by Dan Abraham and Trent Correy. It was released through Disney+ in 2020, making it a later addition to the Frozen short-film catalog rather than a theatrical companion released alongside the original movie.

The title is often confused with Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, the 2017 holiday special about Olaf searching for family traditions. Frozen Fever is the 2015 short centered on Anna’s birthday. Each production features Olaf, but only Once Upon a Snowman focuses on his first moments after being created.
