What is the title of the 2018 X-Men film starring Josh Brolin as Cable?
Answer
Deadpool 2
Deadpool 2 is the 2018 X-Men film starring Josh Brolin as Cable.
The film introduces Cable, a time-traveling soldier from a devastated future who arrives in the present to target a young mutant named Russell Collins. Ryan Reynolds returns as Wade Wilson, who forms a team and tries to protect Russell from Cable.
Josh Brolin’s role is notable because he also portrayed Thanos in Marvel Studios films, but Cable belongs to the X-Men film universe produced by 20th Century Fox. Deadpool 2 was directed by David Leitch and released in May 2018.
The title is sometimes confused with X-Force, the superhero team Deadpool assembles during the story. X-Force is not the film’s title; it is a group within the film and also the name of a planned spin-off project.
