Frozen Fever is the 2015 Disney short featuring Anna, Elsa, and Olaf at Anna’s birthday party.
In Frozen Fever, Elsa plans a birthday celebration for Anna with Kristoff and Olaf. Elsa develops a cold, and each sneeze produces tiny snow creatures called snowgies. The short combines the sisters’ relationship with a lighter, celebratory story.
The short was directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee and features new music, including the song “Making Today a Perfect Day.” It was released theatrically with Disney’s live-action film Cinderella in 2015.
Frozen Fever is often confused with Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, a later holiday short. Olaf’s Frozen Adventure concerns Olaf’s search for holiday traditions and premiered in 2017. Frozen Fever instead focuses on Anna’s birthday and Elsa’s illness.
