What is the title of Lenny Kravitz's 2018 album?

The story behind the answer

Lenny Kravitz's 2018 album is titled Raise Vibration. It is his eleventh studio album and was released on September 7, 2018, through his Roxie Records label in partnership with BMG Rights Management.

Raise Vibration continues Kravitz's blend of rock, funk, soul, psychedelic textures, and polished pop production. Kravitz wrote, produced, arranged, and played many of the instruments himself, as he had on much of his earlier work. Longtime guitarist Craig Ross was among the key collaborators.

The album includes the singles “It's Enough!”, “Low,” “5 More Days ’Til Summer,” and “Johnny Cash.” Its songs address themes ranging from social division and political corruption to love, memory, and the desire for human connection. “Low” also includes posthumous vocal material associated with Michael Jackson.

A common mix-up is confusing the title with Kravitz's previous studio album, Strut, released in 2014, or his later album Blue Electric Light, released in 2024. Raise Vibration sits between those two records in his album chronology.
