The subtitle of Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation’s follow-up game is Chronicles.
Tomb Raider Chronicles was released in 2000 and is the fourth main Tomb Raider title developed by Core Design. Its narrative is framed around stories told by Lara Croft’s friends after she is believed to have died at the end of The Last Revelation.
Rather than presenting one continuous expedition in the usual format, Chronicles is made up of four connected adventures. Each story explores a different episode from Lara’s past and features locations including Rome, a Russian submarine, Ireland, and a high-security tower in New York.
The title is often shortened to Tomb Raider Chronicles. It should not be confused with The Last Revelation, which immediately preceded it, or with the later film Lara Croft: Tomb Raider – The Cradle of Life.
