What is the subtitle of the 2015 Tomb Raider game starring Lara Croft?

The subtitle of the 2015 Tomb Raider game starring Lara Croft is Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is the second game in the Survivor trilogy. It follows Tomb Raider (2013) and sends Lara to Siberia in search of the legendary lost city of Kitezh. Lara is pursuing a secret connected to immortality while facing Trinity, a powerful organization competing for the same discovery.

The title is sometimes confused with Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the trilogy’s third game, released in 2018. It is also distinct from Tomb Raider: Legend, an earlier Crystal Dynamics title from 2006.

Rise was initially released for Xbox platforms and Windows before later versions appeared on PlayStation 4 and other systems. Its gameplay emphasizes exploration, crafting, survival mechanics, tombs, and open-ended wilderness areas.
