The 2006 game’s subtitle is Legend, making its full title Tomb Raider: Legend.
Tomb Raider: Legend began a major reworking of the series after the commercially and critically difficult Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness. It introduced a revised continuity, refreshed controls, and a more streamlined adventure structure centered on Lara’s search for clues about her mother.
The game takes Lara across locations including Bolivia, Peru, Japan, Ghana, Kazakhstan, Nepal, and England. Its story also introduces or reintroduces important allies such as Zip, Alister Fletcher, and Anaya Imanu.
Later games in the same broad era include Tomb Raider: Anniversary and Tomb Raider: Underworld. Anniversary is a remake of the original game, while Underworld continues the Legend storyline. Their subtitles are distinct from Legend.
