The subtitle is Chronicles, giving the game the full title Tomb Raider: Chronicles.
Released in 2000, Tomb Raider: Chronicles is the fifth main installment in the original Tomb Raider series. Its structure differs from the more continuous adventures that came before it: several characters gather after Lara is presumed dead and recount separate episodes from her past.
The game was developed by Core Design and published by Eidos Interactive. Its stories take Lara to locations and periods that include Rome, a Russian submarine, Ireland, and a high-tech building. The anthology format lets the game revisit different stages of Lara’s life and different styles of challenge.
Chronicles is often confused with The Last Revelation because it follows that title in the original sequence. The two are separate games: The Last Revelation was released in 1999, while Chronicles followed in 2000.
