What is the street address of Monica Geller’s apartment building in Friends?

In Friends, Monica Geller’s apartment building is located at 90 Bedford Street.

The building’s exterior appears throughout the series as the New York City home of Monica and, for much of the show, Chandler Bing. It is in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, an area known for its historic townhouses and narrow streets.

The apartment itself is fictional, but the exterior location is real. Monica’s apartment is identified as apartment 20, while Joey Tribbiani lives across the hall in apartment 19. The show’s characters also frequently gather inside Monica’s large living room and kitchen, making the apartment one of its central settings.

A common mix-up is confusing the building’s street address with the apartment number. The recognizable exterior is 90 Bedford Street; apartment 20 is the fictional unit associated with Monica’s home.
