What is the name of Zoe's pet rock?

Zoe’s pet rock is named Rocco. Rocco is a small, silent rock that Zoe treats as a living companion, creating comic situations when other characters—including Elmo—respond to Zoe’s imaginative view of him.

Zoe is an orange three-year-old monster and one of Elmo’s best friends on Sesame Street. She is energetic, practical, impulsive, and especially enthusiastic about dancing ballet. Her friendship with Elmo is a recurring part of the show, and Rocco often becomes the focus of their playful disagreements.

The joke behind Rocco is that he cannot move, speak, or visibly react, yet Zoe confidently includes him in conversations and activities. This lets the show explore imagination, empathy, and different ways of understanding the world while also giving children a simple visual gag they can immediately recognize.

Rocco is frequently mixed up with Slimey, the worm associated with Oscar the Grouch, or with Dorothy, Elmo’s pet goldfish. Tango is also connected to Elmo, but Tango is a dog. Among the choices listed, Rocco is the specific canonical name of Zoe’s pet rock.
