What is the name of the villain voiced by Eddie Izzard in Pixar’s Cars 2?

Miles Axlerod is the villain voiced by Eddie Izzard in Pixar’s Cars 2.

Axlerod is introduced as the organizer of the World Grand Prix and a former oil baron who claims to have transformed himself into an electric car. His public image supports the film’s focus on alternative fuel and international espionage.

The character’s real plan is to use a modified form of Allinol fuel and electromagnetic weapons to discredit alternative energy. This scheme causes race cars to explode and places the World Grand Prix competitors in danger.

Cars 2 also features Professor Zündapp, a German scientist who works with Axlerod, as well as British agents Finn McMissile and Holley Shiftwell. Because all of these characters are involved in the spy plot, their names are sometimes mixed up. Axlerod is the mastermind, not the professor or either secret agent.
