What is the name of the villain revealed in Pixar’s Cars 2?

Sir Miles Axlerod is the villain revealed in Pixar’s Cars 2.

Axlerod presents himself as a former oil baron who became an environmental advocate and created the World Grand Prix to promote Allinol fuel. The film later reveals that he is responsible for a scheme involving the fuel, the races, and attacks designed to discredit alternative energy.

His plan uses electromagnetic pulses to make cars running on Allinol lose control. This conspiracy gives Cars 2 its spy-thriller structure, with Mater accidentally helping uncover the truth alongside Finn McMissile and Holley Shiftwell.

Professor Zündapp is another antagonist and Axlerod’s collaborator, but he is not the mastermind. Finn McMissile is a British spy who works against the conspiracy, and Chick Hicks is a rival from the first film rather than the Cars 2 villain.
