The village near Hogwarts in the Harry Potter books is called Hogsmeade.
Hogsmeade is described as the only entirely wizarding village in Britain. Hogwarts students with permission can visit it on designated weekends, and the village contains shops, inns, and meeting places including Honeydukes, Zonko’s Joke Shop, and the Three Broomsticks.
Harry first visits Hogsmeade during his third year, after obtaining permission from his guardians through Professor McGonagall. Because the Dursleys do not sign his permission form, he initially remains at Hogwarts and later reaches the village by using a secret passage.
Hogsmeade is often confused with Diagon Alley, the wizarding shopping district in London. Godric’s Hollow is a village with important connections to Harry’s family, while Little Whinging is the Surrey town where Harry grows up. Hogsmeade is specifically the settlement beside Hogwarts.
