What is the name of the two-player protagonist pair in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate?

The story behind the answer

The two-player protagonist pair in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is Jacob and Evie Frye.

The Frye twins are Assassins operating in London during the Industrial Revolution. Jacob is impulsive and eager to challenge Templar control directly, while Evie is more methodical and focused on finding an Isu-related artifact connected to the Brotherhood’s wider conflict.

Players can switch between the twins during much of the campaign, although some missions are designed specifically for one sibling. Jacob builds influence through the Rooks, a street gang he recruits, while Evie investigates conspiracies and works with allies such as Henry Green.

Syndicate was released in 2015 and uses Victorian London as its main setting. The game also features historical figures including Queen Victoria, Charles Dickens, Karl Marx, and Alexander Graham Bell. They support the period setting but are not the game’s playable protagonists.
