What is the name of the spy agency in Pixar’s Cars 2?

The spy agency in Pixar’s Cars 2 is called C.H.R.O.M.E.

The name is an acronym for the Command Headquarters for Recon Operations and Motorized Espionage. It is the international intelligence organization that recruits Finn McMissile and later works with Holley Shiftwell.

Cars 2 expands the series beyond Radiator Springs into an espionage adventure involving races in Japan, Italy, and England. Mater becomes involved after being mistaken for an undercover agent, while a separate plot concerns a dangerous alternative fuel.

C.H.R.O.M.E. is easy to confuse with the film’s racing event, the World Grand Prix, or with the names of individual spy characters. Finn McMissile is an agent, not the agency itself.
