What is the name of the secret-agent character in Pixar's Cars 2?

Finn McMissile is the secret-agent character in Pixar's Cars 2.

Finn McMissile is a British spy voiced by Michael Caine. He investigates a conspiracy connected to the World Grand Prix and initially mistakes Mater for an undercover American agent. His elegant design combines features associated with classic British sports cars and spy-film vehicles.

The character helps Cars 2 shift from the first film’s small-town racing story into an international espionage adventure. Finn works with Holley Shiftwell, another British intelligence agent, while Mater becomes involved in their mission despite having no formal spy training.

Finn McMissile is sometimes confused with Holley Shiftwell because both are agents and share much of the film’s spy storyline. Professor Zündapp is an antagonist, while Miles Axlerod is a central figure in the conspiracy. These characters serve different roles in the plot.
