What is the name of the Santa Fe museum devoted to Georgia O'Keeffe's life and art?
Answer
Georgia O'Keeffe Museum
The Santa Fe museum devoted to Georgia O'Keeffe's life and art is the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum.
The museum opened in Santa Fe, New Mexico, in 1997, eleven years after O'Keeffe's death. Its collections include paintings, drawings, photographs, and archival materials connected with her career and working methods.
The institution also operates the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum Research Center, which supports scholarship on O'Keeffe and modern American art. The museum's name can be confused with the Georgia O'Keeffe Home and Studio in Abiquiú, a separate historic property managed through the museum. Santa Fe is the museum's main public location.
