What is the name of the race that serves as Cars 3's climactic event?

The Florida 500 is the climactic race in Pixar's Cars 3.

The event takes place at the fictional Florida International Super Speedway. Lightning McQueen enters the race after a difficult season and a training program designed to help him compete with Jackson Storm's generation of high-performance racers.

The race becomes a turning point when Lightning chooses to let Cruz Ramirez take over for him. Cruz wins, defeating Storm and beginning a new chapter for the Rust-eze team. Lightning then embraces the role of mentor while continuing to race in a different capacity.

The name can be confused with the Piston Cup, which is the championship competition and trophy associated with the earlier films. The Florida 500 is a specific race within Cars 3, not the general name for the entire championship.
