Sally Carrera is the Porsche 911 character who lives in Radiator Springs in Pixar’s Cars.
Sally is the town’s attorney and one of its strongest advocates for preserving Radiator Springs. She moved there after leaving a demanding career in Los Angeles, choosing the slower pace and historic character of Route 66. Her relationship with Lightning McQueen develops as he learns to value the community.
The character is modeled as a Porsche 996 Carrera, a generation of the Porsche 911 produced from the late 1990s into the 2000s. The name “Carrera” is also a Porsche-associated model designation, making it a deliberate part of the character’s identity.
Flo is the owner of Flo’s V8 Café, while Holley Shiftwell appears in Cars 2 as a spy and technical agent. Sally should also not be confused with Lizzie, the elderly owner of Radiator Springs Curios.
