What is the name of the high-tech rival introduced in Pixar’s Cars 3?

Jackson Storm is the high-tech rival introduced in Pixar’s Cars 3.

Storm represents a new generation of race cars built around advanced technology, intensive training, and superior speed. His rapid success creates the central problem for Lightning McQueen, whose traditional experience is challenged by younger competitors.

Armie Hammer voices Jackson Storm. The character’s sleek design and confident attitude contrast with McQueen’s older racing identity and the more established stock-car personalities seen in the first film.

Chick Hicks is the principal rival in Cars, while Cal Weathers and Bobby Swift are racers in the Cars 3 competition. They are not the technologically advanced antagonist who becomes McQueen’s defining opponent in the third feature.
