What is the name of the Foo Fighters' 2005 double album?

The story behind the answer

What is the name of the Foo Fighters' 2005 double album? It is In Your Honor.

Released on June 14, 2005, In Your Honor was the Foo Fighters' fifth studio album and their first double album. Its two discs deliberately split the band's sound into contrasting halves: the first focuses on loud, electric rock, while the second features quieter, acoustic-oriented songs.

Dave Grohl originally considered making an entirely acoustic record, but the project expanded into a larger statement about the band's musical range. The sessions took place at Studio 606 West in Los Angeles, and the album was produced by Nick Raskulinecz alongside the band. It contains 20 songs in total, 10 on each disc.

The album's best-known tracks include “Best of You,” “DOA,” “Resolve,” and “No Way Back.” Guests included Norah Jones, Josh Homme, and Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones. The title can be confused with other Foo Fighters albums such as One by One, released in 2002, or Wasting Light, released in 2011.
