What is the name of the first Assassin's Creed game set primarily in ancient Egypt?

The story behind the answer

Assassin's Creed Origins is the first Assassin's Creed game set primarily in ancient Egypt.

Released in 2017, Origins follows Bayek of Siwa, a Medjay who becomes involved in the events that lead to the formation of the Hidden Ones, the precursor organization to the later Assassin Brotherhood. The story unfolds during the Ptolemaic period, when Egypt is ruled by Cleopatra and faces Roman intervention.

Origins marked a major design change for the series. It introduced stronger role-playing systems, equipment levels, extensive character progression, and a large Egyptian map containing cities, deserts, tombs, and historical monuments. The game is not the only Assassin's Creed title to feature the ancient Mediterranean: Odyssey is set mainly in fifth-century BCE Greece, while Valhalla focuses on Viking England.
