What is the name of the fictional propaganda film within Inglourious Basterds?

The story behind the answer

The fictional propaganda film within Inglourious Basterds is called Nation’s Pride.

Within Quentin Tarantino’s alternate-history war film, Nation’s Pride is a Nazi propaganda movie celebrating Fredrick Zoller, a German sniper who supposedly killed hundreds of Allied soldiers from a bell tower. The film is directed by Joseph Goebbels and stars Zoller as himself, turning his military exploits into a piece of state-sponsored entertainment.

The premiere becomes the centerpiece of the film’s climactic plot. Shosanna Dreyfus, whose family was murdered by Hans Landa, owns the Paris cinema chosen for the event. She and Marcel plan to burn the theater using highly flammable nitrate film, while the Basterds and Bridget von Hammersmark prepare a separate assassination operation.

Nation’s Pride is also known by its German title, Stolz der Nation. The title can be confused with The 14 Fists of McCluskey, another fictional war film mentioned in the story, but that is not the propaganda film screened at the premiere. Bounty Law is instead the fictional television western associated with Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
