Allinol is the fictional fuel central to the plot of Pixar’s Cars 2.
Allinol is marketed as an alternative fuel used by racers in the World Grand Prix. The fuel becomes part of a larger conspiracy when its public image and effects are manipulated to create international controversy and danger for the competitors.
The film combines this fuel storyline with Mater’s accidental recruitment into espionage. As the racers travel through Tokyo, Porto Corsa, and London, the secret plot is gradually uncovered by Mater and the agents working with him. Allinol therefore connects the racing competition to the movie’s spy-thriller structure.
Allinol is not the same thing as Rust-eze, the real-world-style bumper-ointment sponsor associated with Lightning McQueen. Dinoco is another fictional brand in the Cars universe, but it is presented as a sponsor and fuel-company name rather than the specific alternative fuel at the center of Cars 2’s conspiracy.
