What is the name of the Eric Clapton album released in 2018?

Eric Clapton's album released in 2018 is Happy Xmas. Released on October 12, 2018, it was Clapton's first Christmas album and his twenty-first solo studio album.

Happy Xmas presents Christmas standards and less familiar seasonal songs in a style shaped by Clapton's blues and rock background. Most of the album consists of covers, arranged with a predominantly blues-influenced sound, while also including a new composition written by Clapton and producer Simon Climie. The record contains 13 tracks in its standard form, with additional material on some European editions.

The album's title is a variation of the familiar holiday phrase “Happy Xmas,” and its cover and artwork use a stylized Christmas-card aesthetic. That seasonal focus distinguishes it from Clapton albums such as Unplugged, which is a live acoustic performance record, and I Still Do, which was released in 2016.

Happy Xmas arrived after Clapton's long career as a member of the Yardbirds, Cream, and Blind Faith, as well as his extensive solo work. It combines holiday repertoire with the guitar-centered sensibility associated with him.
