What is the name of the dog in Call of Duty: Ghosts?
Answer
Riley
Answer
Riley
The dog in Call of Duty: Ghosts is named Riley.
Riley is a loyal German Shepherd and military working dog who accompanies brothers Logan and Hesh Walker. He serves with their father, Elias Walker, and assists the Ghosts unit during missions in the game’s post-apocalyptic conflict between the United States and the Federation.
Riley is more than a background companion. In several campaign sequences, players can control him directly, using stealth and his heightened senses to scout areas, detect threats, and attack enemy soldiers. This made Riley the first non-human playable character in the Call of Duty franchise.
Players sometimes confuse Riley with Simon “Ghost” Riley, the human special-forces character from Modern Warfare 2. The shared surname is coincidental within the two separate storylines. Duke, Rex, and Max are not the name of the Ghosts campaign dog. Riley’s popularity also helped make him one of the game’s most recognizable characters, despite appearing only in selected missions rather than throughout the entire campaign.
