What is the name of the Danish strait between Jutland and the island of Funen?

The story behind the answer

Little Belt is the Danish strait between the Jutland Peninsula and the island of Funen.

The strait connects the Kattegat in the north with the Baltic Sea through the Danish straits. Its Danish name is Lillebælt. The narrow waterway is crossed by two major bridges: the Old Little Belt Bridge, opened in 1935, and the New Little Belt Bridge, opened in 1970.

The Little Belt is one of the three principal passages linking the Baltic Sea with the Kattegat and North Sea. The other two are the Great Belt and the Øresund. A frequent mistake is to identify the Great Belt, which lies between Funen and Zealand; the Little Belt lies west of Funen, beside Jutland.
