What is the name of the creative agency co-founded by Andy Spade?
Answer
Partners & Spade
Answer
Partners & Spade
Andy Spade co-founded the creative agency Partners & Spade.
He established the company in 2008 with Anthony Sperduti, a longtime creative collaborator. Partners & Spade operated as a branding and marketing studio, helping companies develop identities, campaigns, retail concepts, and other forms of creative work.
The firm also had a physical storefront in Manhattan’s NoHo neighborhood. Its blend of agency, shop, gallery, and cultural workspace reflected Spade’s interest in combining advertising with design, photography, publishing, and retail experiences.
Andy Spade’s agency background predates both Partners & Spade and the fashion label that made his family famous. While attending Arizona State University, he and a friend founded the advertising firm Spade & Hannawell. He later worked in advertising before co-founding Kate Spade New York with Kate Spade in 1993.
Partners & Spade was later rebranded as Mythology in 2018. “Spade & Partners” is a tempting reversal, but it is not the agency’s canonical name.
