What is the name of the character who is killed in almost every episode?

The character killed in almost every episode is Kenny McCormick. During South Park’s early seasons, Kenny’s repeated, bizarre deaths became one of the show’s defining running gags.

Kenny often died through an absurd accident or violent incident, such as being hit by a vehicle, crushed, shot, or killed by a supernatural event. Stan or Kyle would typically react with the famous exclamation, “Oh my God! They killed Kenny!” followed by “You bastards!” Kenny would then usually reappear alive in a later episode without a clear explanation. The joke worked partly because most characters treated the cycle as normal.

The pattern changed during season six. Kenny was killed permanently in “Kenny Dies” and remained absent for much of the season before returning in “Red Sleigh Down.” The creators had grown tired of inventing new deaths and wanted to give more attention to characters such as Butters Stotch. Kenny has remained a major character since then, although his deaths are no longer as consistent as they were in the first five seasons.
