The cat Yo-kai mascot of the Yo-kai Watch series is Jibanyan. He is one of the franchise’s central characters and quickly became its most recognizable visual symbol across games, anime, manga, toys, and merchandise.

Jibanyan is a nekomata Yo-kai, a supernatural cat inspired by Japanese folklore. In the English-localized story, he was once a pet cat named Rudy.
