What is the name of the band formed by Lane Kim?

The band formed by Lane Kim is Hep Alien.

Hep Alien is Lane Kim’s rock band in Gilmore Girls. Lane forms the group as she searches for a musical outlet that lets her pursue the rock music she loves, something she has to hide from her strict and highly religious mother, Mrs. Kim. Music becomes one of Lane’s main ways to establish an identity separate from her home life.

The band’s lineup changes over time, but its best-known members include Lane on drums, Zach Van Gerbig on guitar and vocals, Brian Fuller on bass, and Gil, played by former Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach. Dave Rygalski is also an important early member and Lane’s first major boyfriend, but he later leaves Stars Hollow when Adam Brody leaves the series.

Hep Alien’s story mixes comedy, romance, and the practical problems of being in a small working band. The group breaks up after Brian writes a song about Lane that angers Zach, then reunites for Lane and Zach’s wedding. Their music career ultimately gives way to family life after Lane becomes pregnant with twins.
