Jacob Frye is Evie Frye's twin brother and a protagonist of Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
Syndicate was released in 2015 and follows the twins Jacob and Evie Frye as they fight Templar control in Victorian London. Jacob is impulsive and confrontational, while Evie is more methodical and focused on historical artifacts and the Brotherhood's objectives.
The twins establish the Rooks, a gang that helps them challenge rival forces across London. Jacob's missions often involve gang warfare, sabotage, and direct action, whereas Evie's missions more frequently emphasize investigation and stealth. Players can switch between the two characters during much of the campaign.
The game is set in 1868, during the Industrial Revolution. Its London districts include Westminster, the City of London, and Whitechapel. Jacob should not be confused with Ratonhnhaké:ton, also called Connor, who is the protagonist of Assassin's Creed III.
