What is the name of the Animus user who appears in Assassin's Creed: Revelations?

The Animus user who appears in Assassin's Creed: Revelations is Desmond Miles.

Revelations continues Desmond's modern-day storyline after the events of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. In the main historical simulation, players control Ezio Auditore as he searches for the Masyaf keys and follows clues left by Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad. Desmond's consciousness is separated from ordinary reality after an Animus-related crisis, creating a parallel modern-day setting.

The game includes sequences known as Desmond's Journey, which explore parts of Desmond's past and his relationship with the Animus. These scenes are distinct from Ezio's historical missions and Altaïr's memories, so the three playable perspectives can be easy to mix up.

Layla Hassan becomes the principal modern-day Animus user in later entries, beginning with Assassin's Creed Origins. Rebecca Crane is an Assassin technician, while William Miles is Desmond's father and a senior Assassin.
