What is the name of the album that features the song "Start Me Up"?

The story behind the answer

The song “Start Me Up” appears on the Rolling Stones album Tattoo You. Released on 24 August 1981, Tattoo You became the band’s sixteenth studio album in the United Kingdom and eighteenth in the United States.

The album has an unusual history because much of it was assembled from unused recordings made during earlier sessions. The Stones had touring commitments and limited time to create a completely new record, so producer Chris Kimsey searched through recordings dating from the 1970s. Mick Jagger later added new vocals and melodies to several unfinished tracks.

“Start Me Up” began as a reggae-influenced song during the Some Girls sessions in 1978. After the band reshaped it into a rock track, it became one of their best-known songs. It reached number two on the US Billboard Hot 100 and helped Tattoo You reach number one in the United States.

The album also includes “Waiting on a Friend,” “Hang Fire” and “Worried About You.” Tattoo You remains the Rolling Stones’ most recent American number-one album, making it an important late-period release as well as the home of “Start Me Up.”
