What is the name of the 2017 Frozen short about Olaf searching for holiday traditions?
Answer
Olaf’s Frozen Adventure
Olaf’s Frozen Adventure is the 2017 Frozen short about Olaf searching for holiday traditions.
In the story, Anna and Elsa realize that their family has no established holiday tradition after the citizens of Arendelle leave to celebrate with their own families. Olaf then travels through the kingdom with Sven, looking for traditions that the sisters can adopt.
The short features the characters from Frozen and includes several original songs. It was directed by Kevin Deters and Stevie Wermers-Skelton and was released theatrically with Pixar’s Coco in 2017.
The title is sometimes mixed up with Frozen Fever, which is a 2015 birthday story. It is also distinct from Once Upon a Snowman, a 2020 short that retells part of the original Frozen story from Olaf’s perspective.
