Celia Mae is the Monsters, Inc. character voiced by Jennifer Tilly in the original English version. Celia is Mike Wazowski’s girlfriend and works as a receptionist at Monsters, Incorporated.
The character is recognizable for her single large eye, snake-like hair, and distinctive appearance. Her workplace places her near the company’s daily operations, while her relationship with Mike gives the film several comic scenes involving his secrecy and panic.
Celia should not be confused with Roz, the gravelly-voiced filing clerk who is secretly connected to the Child Detection Agency. Jennifer Tilly’s role is also separate from Mary Gibbs, who provided Boo’s child voice, and from Bonnie Hunt, who voices Ms. Flint, the company’s training supervisor.
