What is the name of Rocky Balboa’s opponent in the main fight of Creed?

Ricky Conlan is Adonis Creed’s opponent in the main fight at the end of Creed.

Conlan is the undefeated light-heavyweight champion who faces Adonis in Liverpool. The bout gives Adonis a chance to establish himself as a serious professional boxer while carrying the legacy of his father, Apollo Creed.

The fight is not a simple title victory for Adonis. Conlan wins by split decision, but Adonis earns respect by going the distance and proving that he belongs at championship level. The result echoes Rocky’s first fight with Apollo, in which Rocky loses the decision but gains national recognition.
